Here’s how you can get involved with the Lambda Alliance:

Community Outreach
Community outreach is vital to fulfilling our mission statement. We are here to educate, inform and support our community and we currently have several programs in which we do this. We are always looking for new ways to improve and expand the sphere of our influence. There are many ways in which you can get involved and we encourage everyone, whether you are part of the LGBT community or an ally, to get involved.

Youth Outreach
A very important part of Lambda is reaching out to High School students and letting them know that they are not alone and that there are people out there who care and understand what they may be going through. There are several ways you can get involved and help achieve this goal, so please look at the list of current opportunities and feel free to suggest other ideas as well.

Media
Calling all journalists, graphic artists, web designers, photographers, filmmakers, or anyone interested in helping Lambda’s presence in the community grow. We are wanting to heighten the awareness the populous has of Lambda so we can have a greater impact and serve the LGBT community better. If you are at all interested in helping us achieve this please contact us.

Fundraising
Lambda sponsors many activities throughout the year. As a result of diminishing ASUM money and a desire to build a stronger Lambda, the Board of Directors is launching a fundraising drive to help support such Lambda events as Pride Week, National Coming Out Day, and other events to help the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities. We are looking for any and all fundraising ideas so please contact us if you have any ideas or would like to help with fundraising.
